Danbury faculties use two new heads of finance office


DANBURY — The school district has hired two new personnel members to guide its finance division.

John Spano is the new finance director, changing Courtney LeBorious, who left for a further district over the summer. Eduardo Miranda will become the deputy director of finance, getting in excess of for the assistant finance director who also left Danbury.

“It’s an honor to be listed here,” Spano reported soon after his appointment was announced to the college board on Wednesday evening. “I’m incredibly energized to get started out.”

Superintendent Kevin Walston called equally new hires “capable” and “talented.”


“They’re both equally going to be amazing fits to our workforce and astounding suits to our college group,” he claimed.

Spano has served as a finance director and assistant director for other “high performing” college districts, Walston explained. He’s worked in the two college and city finance.

“We have another person who is going to aid us navigate the budgeting process when that time arrives,” he said.
